The County Government of Machakos, under the leadership of H.E. Governor Wavinya Ndeti, convened a Co-Financing Co-Creation meeting with Tiko Africa through the Department of Health, aimed at strengthening collaborative health programming across the county.
The engagement focused on developing a sustainable co-financing framework to support priority health interventions, with particular emphasis on adolescent health, HIV prevention, reduction of teenage pregnancies, and prevention of sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV).
This partnership model is expected to reinforce county-led initiatives, enhance resource mobilization, and improve coordination in delivering impactful health solutions. Ultimately, it will expand access to quality, responsive, and youth-friendly healthcare services, ensuring that the residents of Machakos County benefit from effective and sustainable health interventions.
